Located in the north of the Olympic Park in the foot of the Olympic village, the basketball arena is the third largest venue in the Olympic Park and will host events everyday of the games. The construction of the site was erected in two years and is an eye-catching structure. The arena shares the backstage venue with the Velodrome and the BMX track. The funny thing is that the basketball arena will not host the semis or finals of basketball, but of the handball tournament.
